Less than 10 percent of firefighters are female

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and all the brave and strong women around the globe and their fight for gender equality. We especially want to pay our respects to all the female firefighters out there that has dedicated their lives to help save others, despite risking their own and defying the issues and barriers that comes from being a female in such a male dominant profession. We cannot think of better role models for future generations. We thank you and salute you.
