Solo Rescue Basket 1920X800

Solo Rescue® – Basket System & Accessories

All you need to clean your contaminated SCBAs, facepieces, boots, gloves, helmets, and even smaller parts such as regulators and pressure connectors.

Heavy Duty Basket

The Heavy Duty Basket is used at all times when using the Solo Rescue Decon Washer. When paired with other accessories it enables you to wash anything from SCBAs, face masks, boots, gloves, helmets and even smaller parts such as regulator’s and pressure connectors.

One Heavy Duty Basket is always included when you purchase a Solo Rescue Decon Washer. However, if you want to create what we call a Free Flow System you will need two baskets. A Free Flow System naturally separates your wash area into a clean and a dirty side and maximizes flow in the decontamination process as it allows for multitasking. By filling or emptying one basket while the other is being decontaminated you will minimize waiting time and speed up the process.

SCBA Holders

The SCBA Holders makes it possible to place and decontaminate two complete SCBAs, including face masks, in the Solo Rescue Decon Washer at the same time. This gives you a total capacity of cleaning and decontaminating up to 14 SCBAs an hour.

The holders are placed over the centre bracket of the Heavy Duty Basket and they can be combined with the Gear Holder and the Small Parts Holder which will give great flexibillity in decontamination various PPE during the same wash cycle.

Air Cylinder Holder

With the air cylinder holder, you will be able to load up to six cylinders at the same time in the Solo Rescue. This will give you the capacity to wash up to 42 air cylinders per hour. The holder is used together with the Heavy Duty Basket by placing it over the center bracket.

Gear Holder

The Gear Holder is a great multi pupose accessory that enables you to decontaminate facepieces, boot and gloves in the Solo Rescue Decon Washer. It is to be placed at the bottom of the Heavy Duty Basket and you can either place two of them together or combine with the SCBA Holder or the Small Parts Holder.

With two Gear Holders loaded in every Heavy Duty Basket you will get a loading capacity of up to 56 face masks, 60 pair of boots and 120 pair of gloves per hour.

Larger fire stations or training facilities sometimes have a great need for cleaning and decontaminating several face masks at once. If this is the case, using two Gear Holders at the same time will enable you to wash up to 56 face masks an hour, turning the Solo Rescue in to the perfect face mask washer.

Helmet Holder

With the Helmet Holder you can wash and decontaminate up to three helmets at a time or up to 21 helmets an hour. It has a special design that not only secures the helmets in place during the wash cycle, it also positions the helmets in a way that maximizes the decontamination result by making sure the water jets of the Solo Rescue Decon Washer reaches all parts of the helmets – inside and outside.

Small Parts Holder

The Small Parts Holder for the Solo Rescue® Decon Washer enables you to wash and decontaminate even the small parts of your PPE such as disassembled breathing valves and regulators. It is always used together with the Heavy Duty Basket and you can place up to two Small Parts Holders in one heavy duty basket.

Simply disassemble your equipment according to your manufacturer’s instructions and place the separate parts in one of the appropriately sized baskets. Put the top cover in place to secure the parts from being able to get thrown out during the wash cycle.

Trolley

The Trolley is specially designed to fit the Solo Rescue Decon Washer. The height matches the loading height of the machine and servers for a smooth transition from trolley to machine. To save space, the dimensions of the trolley have been slimmed down to pure necessity: the Heavy Duty Basket. It is made of stainless steel and built to withstand a bit of wear and tear and rough handling in a busy washing area.

To improve the ergonomics of your work and optimize your decontamination work flow, we recommend you set up a freeflow system using two of our trolleys specially designed to be used together with the Solo Rescue decon washer.

The trolleys serve two main purposes. The first being as an extra in- and outfeed table that helps load and unload the machine, which ensures a more ergonomic working situation for the operator, as no heavy lifting or carrying is needed. The second being to help avoid recontamination by using one for contaminated gear and one for clean decontaminated gear.

Multiple Areas of Use

The trolley has two shelves which means that even if the top shelf is occupied by a wash basket, the lower floor can still be used for loading additional equipment.

Easy To Handle

The trolley’s four robust swivel wheels rotate at 360-degrees and allows you to effortlessly push the trolley in whichever direction you want. Easily park it by putting your foot on the wheel brakes.
